Antigen Preparation
A synthetic peptide corresponding to the epitope --KR KS*L AKR - of RalA protein at the phosphorylation site at Serine 196. This sequence is identical in human, mouse, rat.
Background
"RalA, RAS like proto-oncogene A, belongs to the small GTPase superfamily, Ras family of proteins. GTP-binding proteins mediate the transmembrane signaling initiated by the occupancy of certain cell surface receptors. It is a low molecular mass ras-like GTP-binding protein that shares about 50% similarity with other ras proteins. The phosphorylation of RalA is associated in the cellular signal transduction."
PURIFICATION
The Rabbit IgG is purified by site-modified Epitope Affinity Purification.
|
SPECIFICITY
This antibody recognizes phosphorylated Serine 196 of human RalA protein. It does not recognize the non-phosphorylated RalAor other phosphorylation sites.
|
FORMULATION
This affinity purified antibody is supplied in sterile Tris-buffered saline (pH7.2) containing antibody stabilizer
|
STORAGE
The antibodies are stable for 24 months from date of receipt when stored at –20oC to –70oC. The antibodies can be stored at 2oC-8oC for three month without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freezing-thawing cycles.
