Antigen Preparation

Recombinant protein encoding aa 936-1154 of human CD11b.

Background

"CD11b (Integrin Î±MÎ²2, Mac-1, CD11b/CD18) is a non-covalently linked heterodimer of Î±M and Î²2 subunits on the surface of leukocytes. It is expressed on the surface of many leukocytes involved in the innate immune system, including monocytes, granulocytes, macrophages and natural killer cells. CD11b consists of two polypeptide chains with molecular weights 95 and 170kDa. The heterodimeric proteins (designated CD11) share a common beta chain CD18 of 95kDa; The alpha chain component of the leukocyte associated antigen is expressed on granulocytes, monocytes and macrophages. CD11b plays a pivotal role in the adhesion and migration of these cells. This antibody reacts with the 170 kDa (CD11b/CD18 heterodimer)."

PURIFICATION The Rabbit IgG is purified by Epitope Affinity Purification	SPECIFICITY This antibody recognizes ~170 kDa of CD11b Protein. It reacts with human. The other species are not tested.
FORMULATION This affinity purified antibody is supplied in sterile Phosphatebuffered saline (pH7.2) containing antibody stabilizer	STORAGE The antibodies are stable for 24 months from date of receipt when stored at –20oC to –70oC. The antibodies can be stored at 2oC-8oC for three month without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freezing-thawing cycles.
