Product Preparation
Recombinant protein encoding aa 253-367 of human CD54.
The CD54 antigen (ICAM-1) is an integral membrane glycoprotein of 85-110kDa with seven potential N-linked glycosylation sites. The cell surface glycoprotein is typically expressed on endothelial cells and the cells of the immune system, such as monocytes. It binds to integrins of type CD11a/CD18, or CD11b/CD18. Expression of the CD54 glycoprotein can be induced or upregulated on many cells types including B and T lymphocytes, thymocytes, fibroblasts, keratinocytes and epithelial cells. The CD54 antigen is important in mediating immune and inflammatory responses.
The Rabbit IgG is purified by Epitope Affinity Purification
This antibody reacts with human CD54. The other species are not tested.
This affinity purified antibody is supplied in sterile Phosphate buffered saline (pH7.2) containing antibody stabilizer.
The antibodies are stable for 12 months from date of receipt when stored at –20oC. The antibodies can be stored at 2oC-8oC for one month without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freezing-thawing cycles.
